Course Description
Program Description The Tourism Management Diploma provides students with the opportunity to embark on a career in the tourism sector. The program includes courses which cover core tourism and business management functions as well as providing opportunities for students to network and build connections within the sector. An integral part of the program is a six credit faculty supervised tourism sector study course which will allow students to engage in experiential learning in the sector. Students will also complete a tourism co-op work term as part of the program. Students will have the opportunity to pursue a number of elective courses in wine and culinary tourism, hotel, restaurant, human resources, and conventions management. Upon graduation, students will be ideally suited for supervisory or front-line management positions in tourism.
